What security looks like in Goulburn
Goulburn is the main centre of the Southern Tablelands, about 195 km south-west of Sydney and 90 km from Canberra, and was proclaimed Australia’s first inland city in 1863. It is home to the Big Merino and the NSW Police Academy, and its economy includes manufacturing, warehousing and distribution, meat processing and retail, with the Hume Highway on its doorstep. That shapes the security local businesses need:
- Warehouses, depots and industrial sites with stock, trucks and equipment on site after hours.
- Shops and businesses in the city centre that need lock-up checks and alarm response.
- Building sites, where plant, tools and materials need protecting overnight and on weekends.
- Events and venues that need crowd control, access control and RSA security.
